Albert Pike

Albert Pike

This is a short rendering of a tale about a man named Albert Pike (1809-1891)who wrote in detail about a dream/vision he had in a letter to his friend, Giuseppe Mazzini (1805-1872).
A little bit about the correspondents before we get to the vision: Pike was a renowned genius in his day and Harvard educated. He was a 33rd Degree Mason and grand master of a Luciferian organization called the Order of Palladium. Pike had a strongly philosophical nature and seemed to like biting the hand that fed him—hence, this Bostonian became a Confederate Brigadier General in the Civil War. His compatriot, Mazzini, was equally bright and philosophical, but a bit more anarchistic. He was chosen to take the lead of Adam Weishaupt’s Order of the Illuminati. Under his leadership, the organization was driven underground when Bavarian authorities learned of Mazzini’s ties to organized crime and alleged plots to bring down the monarchies of Europe.

So, these two fine gentlemen were corresponding. Pike told of a vision he received—no doubt about the source of the vision; he was Luciferian. His vision told of three world wars, economic collapse, and terrorism that would bring about a worldwide Luciferian government:

  • World War I will be fomented to allow an Illuminati overthrow of the Czar and the transformation of Russia into a “fortress of atheistic communism.”
  • World War II will be “fomented by taking advantage of differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists.” Goals of the war will be to bring about a Jewish state and to strengthen communism as a means to hold Christianity at bay.
  • World War III will be “fomented by taking advantage of differences … between the political Zionists and the leaders of the Islamic world.” The goal will be the mutual destruction of Judaism and Islam with the remaining Western population sharply divided between atheism and Christianity.
  • An economic collapse and carefully organized terrorism by nihilist atheists will ensue. Disillusioned and demoralized, the “multitude will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought fully out in the public view.”

I should offer a few caveats at this point concerning the provenance of Pike’s letter. Its contents were made famous by William Guy Carr, a one-time Commander in Canada’s Royal Navy. He learned of the letter and its contents from a Cardinal Rodriguez of Chile, who claimed to have seen the letter in the British Museum Library. Subsequent requests to the library were met with a (too) carefully worded response stating that the letter is not “catalogued” there—a statement that is somewhat different from saying they don’t have it. So if there actually is a letter, as the old Cardinal claimed, it won’t be making an appearance anytime soon.

Does this make your head spin? It does mine—if this letter exists, it betrays a centuries-old plan to subjugate the entire world. Think of it: A devout Satanist from the Civil War era successfully mapped out the strategies and outcomes of the first two world wars. His prescience about the conflict between Judaism and Islam seems pretty spot-on, too. The implications are staggering! Could we really be living out a script from a Satanic dream given over a century ago?

I think we might be. Bible prophecy has a lot to say about the time surrounding Israel’s emergence as a nation. It predicts a time of great Satanic influence and tremendous destruction. Bible prophecy has a 100% track-rate of finding fulfillment over time, so I don’t doubt that Satan is working overtime in this day and age.

But from a less spiritual, more sociological perspective, what does this say about us? Are we really so easily duped and herded like sheep? Are we so malleable and predictable as to fall in line with a plan laid out over a century ago? Do we fall so easily prey to the will of others? I fear we do. Just one look at the way Internet stories and trends go viral is enough to realize that we will fall pretty hard for just about anything—maybe even an unverifiable letter from Albert Pike to Giuseppe Mazzini.
